Tiny Screws Resin Steampunk Ring

sr1
I started this ring with many, many tiny vintage watch screws as a background in a distressed gold tone watch case back.

I then put a big pink aurora borealis glass rhinestone in the center and layered everything in clear resin. The piece was finished off by signing and dating the back and glueing on an adjustable gunmetal silver tone ring blank.

Watch case back measures approximately 22mm long x 28mm wide. Ring band is approximately 7mm wide.

Etsy treasuries!

Just in the last 24 hours two of my items have been featured in etsy treasuries – i’m so excited!

First one was one of my rings in Circles and Spirals from LadyGraceCrafts

And then a while later one of my collage ACEOs showed up in Mixed Media and Abstract Collage from Lara Eckerman

This makes me soooooo insanely happy! it feels really good to have people favorite my work and follow me or my shop. I can’t wait to start making treasuries of my own!

More resin rings

A friend liked my resin ring (as seen prevously here) so much that she offered to trade a handmade scarf for a ring of her own. (bartering FTW!) I had so much fun I ended up making three of them!

I couldn’t decide which one to give her so I gave her the two that were inspired by her

And kept the extra for myself

A closer shot of the gears, heehee!

I wish I could show a pic of the amazing scarf I got in return, however it STILL isn’t finished yet! ;-D

Steampunky resin ring

Just wanted to finally show some shots of the ring I made with one of the resin items from earlier.

Ring

I just used a basic adjustable ring blank, glued on with some jewelry glue (that took forever to dry!)

Ring back

Watch back, vintage paper (from silver crow creations), watch parts and resin.

Ring close

I’m pretty happy with it and have worn it out on the town a couple of times now!
