Learn – HMB #48

The colors in this are really lovely and I love how the gold mesh print looks – it’s hard to see in the pics but it’s neat!

What A Hoot – HMB #47

Really gotten into watching Vicky Papaioannou‘s youtube videos and i love the way she adds dimension to her artwork with paper piecing! This is inspired by that:

The owl got a little banged up in the process but I learned a lot!

Tiny Screws Resin Steampunk Ring

I started this ring with many, many tiny vintage watch screws as a background in a distressed gold tone watch case back.

I then put a big pink aurora borealis glass rhinestone in the center and layered everything in clear resin. The piece was finished off by signing and dating the back and glueing on an adjustable gunmetal silver tone ring blank.

Watch case back measures approximately 22mm long x 28mm wide. Ring band is approximately 7mm wide.
